ABOUT US

OUR
MISSION

Native Hope exists to address the injustice done to Native Americans. We dismantle barriers through storytelling and impactful programs to bring healing and inspire hope.

OUR
VALUES

We believe storytelling dismantles barriers, brings healing, and inspires hope.

We serve Indian Country’s most urgent needs.

We honor the sovereignty of Native nations.

We advocate for the preservation of culture and Native rights.

We address the issues facing Native America.

OUR
WORK

The arrival of European colonists severely impacted Native Americans. Foreign germs and illnesses attacked the people. Colonization wiped out languages along with spiritual and cultural practices. Westward expansion led to broken promises and near a genocide of the Native American people and their way of life.

Native Hope recognizes the importance of healing these historical wounds and restoring trust.

We also respect the sovereignty of Native nations. Their leaders and communities know what is best for their people. Today, despite limited funding, tribes strive to rebuild a strong foundation and achieve sustainability. These resilient people are on a journey of rediscovery and healing.

Native Hope is a resource helping Native communities meet their needs. We talk with community members, listen to their needs, and partner with tribal entities—in a unified effort to dismantle barriers, inspire empowerment, and give hope for a promising tomorrow.

OUR PROGRAMS

Baby-basics-bundle

Youth and Community Outreach

Since financial support on reservations is often limited, funding for this program allows Native Hope to provide much-needed resources to those who need it most. Native Hope meets with community members, listens to their needs, develops partnerships, creates a network of support, and takes action.

Storytelling Heals

Storytelling Heals help us work toward the realization of our vision to address the injustice done to Native Americans. We dismantle barriers, bring healing, and inspire hope through the power of storytelling and impactful programming. Our team works to both inspire a national conversation on the untold story of Native America and address the real issues that Native people in communities face.
