Help Native American Students and Families _____

Provide Essentials

Usually, back-to-school season means excitement for children. But, it’s also one that can bring a sense of anxiety and uncertainty for many Native families. In South Dakota, 49% of Native Americans live at or below the poverty line—making it difficult to afford essential items. Together, we can offer relief to families who need help.

What is a Donor Advised Fund (DAF)?

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a philanthropic giving program that allows you to reap maximum tax benefits while supporting the causes that move you. To create a DAF, you deposit cash, securities, and other assets in a fund then delegate how they are distributed. A DAF is a simple, flexible, and efficient way to manage charitable giving.
